The real joy of using the EX is the ability to walk in and slide the drive into my PC like an old tape deck and immediately have my files available without having to mess with any cables. The Vantec EZ Swap EX is easy to use and provides a new level of versatility to your external storage solution. If you are looking at an external storage enclosure you should strongly consider jumping up to the EX. Why settle for just a USB enclosure?

If you are in need of portable storage but you do not want to pack around a large 3.5" enclosure with a large power brick and such but you need something with more capacity than the similarly priced USB flash drives this may just be what you have been looking for. At home convenience, on-the-go performance all wrapped up in a unit that can literally fit in your back pocket, but I would use the included carrying case lol.

Vantec has manufactured a top notch 2.5" hard drive enclosure with an innovative twist. The EZ Swap EX 2.5 Inch Hard Drive Enclosure was a breeze to install into its enclosure, and use with the internal 3.5" chassis posed no problems. The SATA connection allowed the drive was able to operate to its peak performance, and it was able to push the USB 2.0 connection to its fullest extent.
